Rodney Harmon

As a player, Rodney Harmon helped change the face of tennis. By virtue of his remarkable grand slam performance in 1982 he joined Arthur Ashe as one of two African American men to reach the quarterfinals of the US Open. Along with being an Olympic coach, he currently serves as the Director of Men’s Tennis for the USTA where he oversees the development of young American players.
